Even without Aziz Ansari’s help, Tapes ‘n Tapes is going strong. The latest bit of viral marketing has the entire new album being streamed on their website for 24 hours (ending today at 1pm, CST). Missed it? Who cares, just buy the album on April 18. Or, don’t. Yeah, don’t.

I mean, they’re no VAMPIRE WEEKEND, but there are okay moments on Walk It Off, if you’re into all that capital-air-quotes “indie rock.” Mp3 single “Hang them all” is head-bopping enough, and the inexplicable “George Michael”, which we can only hope is actually about the perils of trying to secure a decent handjob.
