D.C. based band BRNDA creates riffs and licks that you just can’t turn away from. With an addictive guitar line perpetually playing through their latest track “Five Dollar Shake,” which they attribute to being an “imagined piece of Vincent Vega fan fiction,” is equally groovy and grungey. Off of their upcoming six-track release, Thanks For Playing, the band is currently sweeping up their street cred.

“Five Dollar Shake” examines the concept of fictional characters, and how realistic/unrealistic our expectations of them truly are. It’s chock full of raw vocals, rough guitars, and undeniable foot-tap inducing rhythms. Keep up with BRNDA here.
