New Orleans based neo-soul duo 13 Dreams, was formed in 2015 by Justin Batiste (Samples/Vocals) and Jesse Zenon (Keys/Synths/Samples). The two met while working on different projects in the past and recently agreed to start working together when Justin moved back to The Crescent City. Another year goes by, the pair moves in together, and they spent the majority of their time writing which inspires a first album release in 2016 called “Post Gospel Disco”.

Now, 13 Dreams is on the ball, working hard to release a second album named “Moonset”. Jesse and Justin explain its sound and describes it as “Psychedelic Soul, Pop Gold, inherently electronic, indebted to Hip-Hop and R&B.”

“Prior’s Place” is a tincture of many genres. You can hear electronic, neo-soul and hip-hop with some pop. They all blend very well together with the soothing honeyed vocals from Justin Batiste, and the seductive waveforms created by Jesse Zenon.
