This came out a couple days ago but we'd be remiss in not pointing this King Dude LP towards those who know what their bummed and stormy souls really need: Tonight's Special Death, brought to you and I by Italy's AVANT! records. For the unaquainted, this is Seattle's Mr. TJ Cowgill (of Actual Pain) making anti-sentimental dark and dreary folk music, through which you can't wade without getting mired in a swamp of pathos and minor progressions.
