Pure Mids, “Under the Cover”

{

A Fluent Piece of Work

Pure Mids have a knack for slowing our minds down. Their music is soothing, tugging at us to go back to bed, laced with droopy guitars and melancholic vocals. Their latest, “Under the Cover” makes us want to do just that, and take the day off. It’s soaked in mellow instrumentals, heavy in Ducktails and Wild Nothing influences.

With three Southern California natives comprising the band, their sound hones in on that dreamy coastal tone. Will Gonzalez, Steven Martinez, and Daniel Jurado fuse their diverse backgrounds into a cohesive unit on “Under the Cover.” It’s a shimmering peek into their minds and a track that leaves you wanting more.

Keep up with Pure Mids here.
