Dan Deacon and his (mainly) Baltimore-based flotilla of musicians cut the 2009 ribbon on an outdoor place in Bushwick that saw Lightning Bolt play last year. Art from Nick Kuszyk, Jesse Hlebo, Javelin, Free Danger, Maya Hayuk/Lauren Luloff, Rachel Nelson/Secret Project Robot, and GDFX hung throughout the open yard as the JMZ thundered overhead and Deacon stepped down from his onstage position for another round of getting kids to do crazy shit in a circle.

I was looking for Greg's art and then I noticed it was under the Javelin radio's on the tree stump. It was a nice lil' ink drawing.

Only a simultaneous No Fun Fest coulda kept me away from this, and it did. Looks brilliant though.
