DD/MM/YYYY seek SF wifi, clean drawers

Photos by Jenz » The guys in DD/MM/YYYY are ok with awkward crowd silence, as evidenced by lead singer Matt King's introduction to the audience at Bottom of the Hill: "Hey, we're Day Month Year. I just peed myself. Do you have the Internet, San Francisco?" The five piece, opening for These Arms Are Snakes in San Francisco, had to sell a Wednesday night to a crew of Asian metal guys making out with their respective girlfriends at the bar. But the Canadians persisted through requisite instrument swaps, lung-bursting shout choruses, and making the weirdos in the front very happy to be there.
