Neon Indian costume contest
» On All-Hallow's-Eve-Eve, Neon Indian played a show at Brooklyn Bowl and threw a costume contest. There were some pretty decent costumes- my personal favorite was the guy dressed up pitch perfect as Alan Palomo in too-tight jeans and a too-small motorcycle jacket. In the end, a tornado of babies (?) won, and the lucky gal got to take a tequila shot with the band as her prize (?).

Musically, Prince Rama won the night as usual, with their charming stage banter and intricate tunes that even Brooklyn Bowl's sound system couldn't make sound bad. Apache Beat opened.
