Noise Pop 2011 Day 4: Nobunny, Exrays

Photos by Kati Prescott + Sjimon Gompers » On the fourth day of Noise Pop we commenced ceremonies at Bender’s with Jack Mann and the Upper Hand, followed by the doo wop fever of Shannon and the Clams. Later at Bottom of the Hill, The Downer Party played some pretty mean power pop for a band of young guns with big bold “Xs” on their wrists. Exrays shined a beam of light with generous amounts of rocking electro-folk and ample gratitude and grace. Afterward Nobunny weaseled through the feet of the crowd en route to the stage before rocking the house like a youthful David Johansen masquerading as Peter the Rabbit in black skivvies and leather.
