Real Estate and Shorts at Music Hall of Williamsburg

This past Thursday, December 18, Real Estate played a free, homecoming show at Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn, NY.  Converse Rubber Tracks succeeds again in bringing incredible live music to the fans for free.

This show was the last stop on Real Estates tour for 2014 and a self-proclaimed holiday/Hanukkah party. A single string of holiday lights draped over their equipment kept it festive. SNLs Kyle Mooney introduced the band to the stage and they played a solid 16-song set that covered their discography wonderfully. But, the real gift was when Real Estate performed the Smugglers Way rarity, “In My Car.” So lovely.

Real Estates most recent album, Atlas, garnered rave reviews from critics and songs such as “Had To Hear,” “Crime,” “Horizon,” “April’s Song,” and “The Bend” sounded even fuller live. 2015 seems like it could be THE year for the boys of Real Estate and hopefully a few festivals will snag them for the perfect sunset slot.

Converse Rubber Tracks once again presents a great show for the price of zero dollars in an intimate space.
