Billed as “Barcelona’s International Festival of Advanced Music and New Media Art,” the 22nd edition of Sónar Festival took place Thursday, June 18 through Saturday, June 20. The three day event featured sets by Bomba Estéreo, Bosaina, Colectivo +0, Dorian Concept, Dubfirelive Hybrid, Fernando Lagreca, FKA twigs, Gramatik, Helena Hauff, Hot Chip, Just Blaze, Kate Tempest, Kindness, La Mverte, Larry Gus, Laurent Garnier, Mans O, Maya Jayne Coles, Mumdance & Novelist, Nazoranai, Nick Hook, NV, Olefonken, Owen Pallett, Róisín Murphy, Redinho, Russell Haswell, Skepta & JME, Squarepusher, The 2 Bears, Tiga, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Valesuchi, and Zebra Katz.
