“Sweet’s” 10 year anniversary at The Slipper Room

Post Author: Rafe Baron

Seth Herzog’s long running weekly comedy show, “Sweet,” celebrated its tenth anniversary with three special shows. Photographer Rafe Baron attended the final one on Wednesday, September 10, which featured sets by Artie Lange, Jeff Ross, Hannibal Buress, Kurt Braunohler, Ted Alexandro, and Mel and Fannie, and was co-hosted by Dion Flynn, and Questlove as the musical director. After each performance, Herzog’s delightful mother (Kera Greene) asked each person a question. She was forced to perform a freestyle rap as a part of the show, while someone beatboxed for her. Actor Justin Long made a surprise appearance and sang along with the comedians to “We Are the World,” to end the night.

Turning ten is a pretty big deal. Congratulations Sweet!
