While our own Joe Perez was there to catch the fabled, budding bedroom pop star in progress, he was one of many, with Pitchfork.tv conducting their requisite Market Hotel recording sesh, and crowds of industry swiftly departing post twenty-minute set. Others were probably there to see the face behind Blank Dogs. We stayed for Woods. We also published two divided, separate reviews of Wavves' album Wavvves, so count us as part of the problem. At least we stayed for Woods.
Listen to the set here.

gary war played the best set of that night by far. why you would focus on the most bogus 20 min set ive ever seen is beyond me. keep it comin impose!

i think this article is implying that wavves is overrated. and yr prob the same dude who'd call a Gary War 'bogus' if they were the one everyone else is slobbering over. you prob play in the band, or are friends with someone in it.
