Debut: The Jameses, "5th Dimension" Video by Drew Blatman

The Jameses' "5th Dimension" is a frenzied jam of bottom tier synth-hypnosis propelled into madness by sounds that bring to mind James Horner's Honey, I Shrunk The Kids score played at a light-speed pace. The Jameses never cease to impress the Impose staff and crafting a cartoonish jam from Mickey Mouse land is another bullet point on our laundry list of adoration.

The video for "5th Dimension" was shot in West Palm Beach in the winter of 2010 (damn their gorgeous winter weather) by Drew Blatman of Sunset Television/Weird Days. In a span of three and a half minutes Blatman crafts a sensory overload of every Florida stereotype to the pace of "5th Dimension".

"5th Dimension" is off The Jameses' Caribou 7" out now on Captured Tracks. The Jameses LP is due in May.
