Eartheater, “MacroEV”

Eartheater MacroEV video

Alexandra Drewchin’s peculiar approach to experimental music as Eartheater is aptly expressed in the video for “MacroEV”. In this highly-conceptualized creation story rendered in claymation, film maker Amia Yokoyama uses Eartheater’s percolating strings and newborn meowing to create a film that is both tender and strange. Imaginative as the track itself, the video for the single from her recently-released Metalepsis LP could be understood as a bleary eyed introduction to the the physical world.

Eartheater’s Metalepsis is out now on Hausu Mountain. You can read Nina Mashurova’s interview with Alexandra Drewchin here.
