Ghostface Killah, “Rise of the Ghostface Killah”

Okay, so if you haven't been paying attention, lots of important things have been happening in the Ghostface and Wu Tang worlds. Wu Tang supposedly brought down the house at last weekend's Coachella festivities, but if I ever have to utter the word Coachella again, so help me god. Other than that, Wu Tang's Facebook page focuses mainly on Wu-Mamis, so if that's your kind of thing, head that way now.

In more relevant Wu news (Wuws), Ghostface Killah released his 10th studio album today, 12 Reasons to Die, and if someone doesn't draft up an outline of what exactly the storyline of this concept record is, I am going to be more lost listening to it than the time I tried to find emotional depth in a Drake song. Along with the record release is a newly premiered video for the song "Rise of the Ghostface", wherein a bunch of bonkers shit goes down in a church, namely an uprising of Satanists, a bloodbath of chanting, and a stabbing. RZA is in the video, as he features on the song, but mysteriously, Ghostface isn't—he's played by somebody else wearing a mask, somebody named Greg Malone.

Whatever you gotta do, Ghostface. Maybe he was too busy at the vinyl factory hand-pressing this flashy special edition release of the new record.
