Growth, “Ice Age”

Post Author: Emily Chu

Growth has just released a video for their track, “Ice Age,” and we have it first for you here on Impose.

This video is certainly interesting. The visuals slowly move up and down an stone sculpture of a woman. The camera goes in and out of focus. The scene changes to a person’s back. The person bends and straightens, as the camera goes up and down the spine and then shifts to the front. The camera focuses on each freckle, and then becomes sporadic. Another sculpture-like being is shown, except this time it’s a person painted to imitate a sculpture. The camera switches between these views as Growth sings, low and raw, accompanied by drums and some guitar.

“Ice Age” is the first track from their EP Colour, Cut & Clarity, out now on Lazy Octopus records.
