Leslie Schott and Andrew Valenti form Holy Golden, a Detroit based duo that have created their own sound that has a variety of dynamic influences. Their single “The Movie” is off their upcoming EP, and embodies all of what the pair is about.
The video was shot in the Grand Tetons of Wyoming, where Leslie and Andrew find themselves in old western garb attempting to find a deeper understanding surrounded by the prairies and amongst the mountains. The video is shot entirely in a grainy old filter, that gives it grittier feel and matches the emotions that are presented in the music. The video takes the viewer back in time, to a simpler era, creating the perfect landscape for the music to flow and be heard.
