JAQ ft. Jordan Lisle, "Machine"

Bristol-based electronic duo Ekcle’s Deshoda EP is getting traction in the form of 169K+ total streams, but JAQ, singer/songwriter and one half of the group, is out for even more. Already writing and producing for other acts, JAQ is stepping out as a solo artist as well. The ever-busy JAQ still had enough time to release a video for “MACHINE,” an uptempo collaboration with singer Jordan Lisle.
The track starts off with serene synths, and the geometric-dominated video matches the vibe with shots of a glorious purple sky. The composition then kicks into the next gear with a dancefloor-ready groove which JAQ and Lisle commandeer to let the ladies know how much they have to offer. As the crisp drums jaunt along, JAQ assures, “I’ll be your energy.”
The visual showcases scenes of the skies – and the guys – with constantly shifting sequences of spinning hexagons, squares, and other shapes. “MACHINE’S” sleek single and enamoring video are strong introductions for those unaware of what JAQ is capable of as a solo act.
