Kid Trails – “Naming”

Joseph Anthony Evans

Meet Oakland, California inhabitant Patrick Jeffords. Some of you may know him as the touring bassist player from the popular electro-pop group led by a childhood friend Chaz Bundick, named Toro Y Moi. Jeffords finally found time between touring and started a little project up of his own under the name Kid Trails. In 2014 he released several EPs as well as the LP, Kid Trails Rising. A few months back he released the memorable EP Naming EP and now has put out evocative visuals for the track “Naming”.

Patrick Jeffords immediately woos us with the elegiac tune “Naming”. His smooth and mellow bodied voice is exactly what many of us may need to loosen up. The sweet sounding mixture of psychedelic rock and pop will surely lead you into a thousand-yard stare on a sun-soaked afternoon and will undoubtedly leave you with the self-realization of true happiness. You may even crack a smile.
