L'Amour Bleu, "Slave"

Post Author: Meredith Schneider

On Valentine’s Day, Queens’ self-proclaimed “meat wave” collective L’Amour Bleu – expertly comprised of Ryan Schaefer, Shane Ruth, Asher Ireland, and Matt Tong – released their new album Please. Not to be mistaken for some high falutin group due to the fancy French name, the band is more grungy garage rock with a mod twist than anything else. We’ve got the entertaining new video for their track “Slave” to debut for you right now.
Deep, 80s-inspired spoken/sung vocals take hold as the intense strumming of the guitar sets the tempo for a strange but captivating fight between two individuals in what looks to be the green depths of Central Park. But you’re going to have to watch the video in its entirety to find out what ensues.
Please is available now via Static Recital.
