Len Sander is a 6-piece band who has been producing music for quite some time. The lineup consists of brainchild Blanka Inauen, Alessandro Hug, Flavio Schonholzer, Markus Brutsch, Simon Inauen, and Dennis Scharer. “We’re all family and really close friends,” explains Blanka. “We’re in love with all kinds of music and we want to constantly evolve as songwriters and musicians.” And evolve they have.

The new Len Sander music video for “Another Man” is NUTS. It’s shot so exquisitely–almost like a full-length feature film–and we can’t even quite wrap our heads around it. There are moments of contemplation, sadness, and hints of the normalcy of every day life. “[The other man is] a man that makes me happy,” elaborates Blanka about the track. “It’s what every woman deserves.” But there is this underlying feeling of change. There are moments of vengeance and others of hopefulness and expectation. But–most importantly–there are tears, a gun, and a lot of snow.

About the music video, Blanka says, “We have a group of friends that are filmmakers and we just trusted them with the song. We didn’t give them any specifications. They just had the task to make a video for the song. We were curious to see what happened when we gave the song out of our hands so someone else could realize their own vision of it. And we are very happy with the result.”

We are too. While the song “Another Man” leaves you wanting more for your own life, while the music video leaves you shattered in pieces, hoping against hope for the protagonist’s future and eventual lightening of her emotional burdens. Blanka has a unique view on the track, but her emotions widely reflect our own. “[When I listen to the song, I feel] in love, alive, full of energy and also a little proud of what we have accomplished as a band in the last year.”

And that’s what we are looking for from a talent like Len Sander.
