MORI, “Do You Wanna Hurt Me”

Meredith Schneider

Pop rock collective MORI – fronted by singer/songwriter and guitarist Mori Einsidler with Jake Goldin (guitar), Adam Downer (bass, vocals), and Stephen Ranellone (drums) – just released a new music video for their single “Do You Wanna Hurt Me” off their recent EP Better for You. It’s striking from the beginning, as it takes place in a dark, hazy setting. The lights come up, and MORI is playing the song live, basked in a vivid purple and blue glare. Green lasers light up the space and mimic twinkling lights around the performance, encasing the band in an ethereal glow as Mori sings of a heartbreak due to a love gone wrong.

Better for You is available now.
