Premiere: Alex Calder, “Lethargic”

If the the endless supply erect penises and looped video of a python devouring a little yellow chick haven't scarred your Chatroulette experience to nightmares, imagine connecting to a two-headed Alex Calder ready to serenade you with his track, "Lethargic". Calder introducing himself in his harmless Canadian accent is unsettling, mostly because of the mutation, but when one of the heads sprouts an extension of bandanas and sunglasses it becomes a creepy venture into the duality of man. One head is stone faced, singing "I'm not drinking and I'm not thinking", while the other looks as though he's delivering each lyric with a wink behind his sunglasses.

Alex Calder's Time EP is out now on Captured Tracks.
