Premiere: Dead Rider, "The Pointed Stick" Video by Todd Rittmann

If you're saying to yourself, this video seems awfully 90s in its appeal, you may be on to something. Former US Maple frontman, Chicago mainstay, and current Dead Rider head honcho Todd Rittmann is behind both the song and video production for this number. You should probably also know that Dead Rider features Andrea Faught from Cheer-Accident, who appears half naked in "The Pointed Stick" clip (calm down, so do the dudes). The most recent single from their second album, The Raw Dents, is an attempt to be "stranger and sleazier," or as the Chicago Reader puts it, a "post-Bowie lounge-lizard croon." But I go back to those 90s references; I'm hearing a lot of Cop Shoot Cop.
