Prince Rama, "Summer of Love" Video by Prince Rama
The song itself is written in three stages, so it's fitting that there are three acts in this video. In the first, piles of incense and glitter float around two hands in a classic Indian position. When the drums launch, announcing the arrival of the second part of the song, we see Prince Rama themselves, Taraka and Nimai Larson, painted head to toe in gold with Cleopatra eyes and long, dark haired wigs. They are singing, mirrored. We travel back to India in the third act, and see the dancer herself, alternating with a shield of peacock feathers, dancing in the ocean or in front of a dark red David Lynch curtain.
