Sleep Good, “Somewhere”

Elizabeth Schneider

Sleep Good, the self-described “five piece beach band from Austin, TX”, has produced a video for their song “Somewhere” that awakens your senses like none other.

Will Patterson, creator of Sleep Good as well as the lead singer/songwriter/guitarist, joined by Austin Jones (bass), Justin Davidson (synth/perc), Nacho Guerrero (12 string), and John Kolar (drums), has used the 1960’s playbook to formulate the inspired video.  “Somewhere” is the first single from Sleep Good’s forthcoming album Bohemian Grove and it makes you want to hear more.  The film utilizes all the colors, as well as fuzzy vintage images and everything else that makes you think that this is what The Doors would have made if they made videos.  The lyrics and the video couldn’t be more perfectly matched.

Keep up with Sleep Good here.
