Sweet Years, “Fireproof”

Meredith Schneider

In February, pop punk crooners Sweet Years – comprised of Thaddius Dakota Smith, Zach FIlleran, and Travis Bigwood – released their album Coat Guts. Their video for “Fireproof” really gets your adrenaline pumping with its storyline alone, as Smith walks through a massive setup of strange situations in what looks to be an abandoned office building. As he sings “fireproof is not a label, it’s a state of mind,” we go on a journey with the band as they¬†pump themselves up – and a host of other humans – for a very unexpected ending.

Coat Guts is available now. Keep up with Sweet Years here.
