From the “you made it a hot line, I made it a hot song files,” Chicago artist Towkio released his new song “Symphony,” an energetic single from his upcoming WWW. debut album which he also announced today. The song borrows a line from Justin Timberlake’s “My Love,” which serves to perfectly encapsulate his ode to giving romance a chance.

The track is a fusion of Chicago house, hip-hop and electronic with tribal drums and a little funk all at play. Towkio impressively commands the loaded soundscape with a guttural, rapidfire delivery in which he states his case to the object of his eye. “It’s scientific chemistry, you wifey, wifi you connect to me,” he cleverly rhymes.

“Symphony” is another impressive preview WWW., which will be released February 16th on American Recordings/Republic. He’s the first rapper to be signed to Rick Rubin in over 20 years, and boasts a debut album that was executive produced by Norwegian producer Lido.
