In the leadup to his solo debut album, Slum Village member Young RJ is giving us some food for thought with “Issues,” the third single and video from his upcoming Blaq RoyalT project. “Issues” is a reflective examination of exactly what it implies: the many problems facing our world today. From cultural appropriation to “kids having kids” and senseless violence, RJ rides the spacey 808 production to let men know they “ain’t doin’ what men do.”

Blaq RoyalT is set to be released on October 10th, and also features De La Soul, Pete Rock, and Boldy James, who appeared on previous single “Wait.
