Alex Mattson Takes Us Through His Studio Anthems..

Finnish DJ and producer Alex Mattson has unveiled his brand new 4-track EP ‘Eleven’, which features previous release, Complicated Love’, and vibrant new single ‘Flesh And Bone’, a melodic summer anthem steeped in Alex’s rich synth-focused electronica tones. Noticed by legendary dance label Ultra Music, Alex had soon amassed over 20 million Spotify streams. 
We asked the Finnish producer to create us a playlist of some of his top studio anthems..

These are the songs i always listen to at the studio when i need to get inspired/hype up the energy

The Weeknd – Hills:

”The Weeknd has always had really fresh sounding productions. I really like to listen to his music when i try to create something a bit edgier with vocal production

 

Justin Bieber – Children:

”Children was my favourite song from Biebers last album and i’m so hyped with the production of this one! It just never gets old and really hypes up the energy in the room when searching for inspiration

Mura Masa – Lovesick:

”Mura Masa has so unique sound and he uses sounds that are really different compared to typical pop productions. Makes me think more ”out of the box” as well.

Porter Robinson, Madeon – Shelter:

”I think this one is a perfect song when you are searching for inspiration to do melodic electronic song

Kanye West – Homecoming:

”This one is a great example of keeping productions simple but still making it sound special. One of my favourite songs!

Jack Ü – To Ü

”Like The Weeknd song i mentioned earlier, I really like to listen to this one when making something a bit edgier with vocals

Good Charlotte – The River

”This one is just a classic that always gets me hyped and makes me want to produce super energetic song, haha!”
