Los Angeles’ indie pop duo Golden Coast – comprised of Denny White and Steven Mudd – recently released a new track titled “Comeback Kid”. The song wastes no time getting into the thick of things, heavy with synth and sound effects while the smooth vocals bring the lyrics to the forefront in an emotionally intense way. Lyrics like “but you know that I got / thick skin go ahead and have the shot / I’ll take my chances” breathe energy and confidence into your lungs as you sing along with their self-assured words.
