Pekoe Cat, "Superstore"

Post Author:

Pekoe Cat–the project of Kyle Woolven–makes music that is the embodiment of lo fi goodness. In his new single “Superstore,” Woolven brings together minimalistic production effects and psychedelic guitars and vocals. Lyrically, “Superstore” is stream of conscious: Woolvern sings about the stuff he sees in a superstore, one full of junk magazines and bad retail.
Pekoe Cat has a sound that seems to take inspiration from alt rock giants like Cake and Primal Scream, “Superstore” is the embodiment of that inspiration. It’s a track that is catchy, hypnotic in a psych rock way, and super fun.

Keep up with Pekoe Cat here.
