Rising artist NoMBe recently announced the debut album They Might’ve Even Loved Me available March 23 through Th3rd Brain Records & delivered the single “Drama” ft. Big Data. The LA based artists builds upon a rise we discovered years back, where elements of big production meets the economy of today’s sonic creative worlds that exist outside the confines of trad genres.
“Drama” finds NoMBe & Data introducing a host of harmonies amid a mix of analogue & electronic instruments that are layered in angled atmospheres of distortion & dance tailored sequencing. NoMBe’s work draws from a series of fashions like throwback rhythm-rockers of yesterday, cinema pop sensibilities & strong modern funk core that moves past conflicts with wild arrangements that even make room for expanding atmospheres. Data & NoMBe brings something cathartic made for dance floors & domiciles to sort out the static that keeps people apart.

NoMBe provided some thoughts on the new single “Drama” along with thoughts on the new album:

Inspired by a rather uncomfortable argument Ive had the day I met Alan (Big Data), Drama is about that mask you wear as a performer that people oftentimes get confused with who you really are. Especially when dating it can cause friction at times when you have to step on stage an be this persona for people.

NoMBe shared the following reflections on the album They Might’ve Even Loved Me:

It’s one of many different scenarios that I talk about on the album. All the stories are about different relationships with women, good, bad and great. Stories of of love, heartbreak, sex and even personal family situations. It is very personal to me and I hope it will resonate with the listeners!
