With the changing of the seasons comes a parade of new exciting events, artistic endeavors with the feeling & thrill of change charging about the atmosphere with high energetic charge of pure electricity. Further evidence is heard on the world premiere listen from their just released Mock Records cassette titled A Refaced Ranger from damaged art pop-punks Rearranged Face with sci-fi scuzz of “Invaders From Another Sun”. Applying a clever concoction of principles from mathematical rhythm considerations to chaos theory effects with a dose of dilettante dissonance that strikes with laser guided precision & diligence.
“Invaders From Another Sun” is the sound of what would happen if extra-terrestrials descended from the fiery planet & down to planet earth in the search of all great economically minded DIY gem-jams that clocked in under two minutes. Rearranged Face stir up an intergalactic ruckus that rearranges more than the faces of listeners but sends sonic whisks into your cranium to stir up your senses. With a title ripped straight from the style of a midnight matinee popcorn chomper, Rearranged Face are the sound of classical art students in rebellion that make succinct & snarky sounds made to sound like a full-on UFO attack straight out of a climactic b-movie blowout scene.
