Available now from Luminelle Recordings, Helena Deland shared the lauded new EP From the Series of Songs “Altogether Unaccompanied” Vol. I & II that is one of the year’s must hear releases (and also the debut release from Luminelle Recordings). The succinct collection of recordings illustrate the effective power of tightly cared for & crafted songs that are the perfect compliment to make your day or evening more introspective & illuminated. Deland begins the four song journey with the trail-ways of discovery that are embarked upon with “There Are a Thousand”, the outlaw rocker & roller of “Perfect Weather for a Crime”, the pensive atmosphere of “Take It All”, before arriving full circle with the cryptic dialogues of “Body Language”.
Helena shared the following reflections about the making of the EP:

I went back to the studio last summer to record all the pieces I had written in the last five years. It has become a series of fragments that have in common the idea of the relationship, the feeling of being often completely lost in the company of others.
