Black Moth Super Rainbow

American electronic musician Tobacco might just be as dangerously seductive as the product he named himself after. Thomas Fec, AKA Tobacco, is a Pennsylvanianite known for being the frontman of Black Moth Super Rainbow. He and the rest of Black Moth Super Rainbow are known to be private and elusive, so bear with me and my lack of significant information. Their music seems to speak for itself though, and it is saying “we are doing incredible musical things.”

Odd Nosdam got his hands on Black Moth Super Rainbow's track “Windshield Smasher” and put his own spin on it with a remix. The remix is dark, but sweet. It opens with vocals that may or may not have been sung by a cyborg, and thumping 808's, before being supported by burly bass synths and a wistful melody. The Windshield Smasher EP came out digitally on August 28, 2012 through Rad Cult. But it just so happened to pop up on our stream this week.

Super limited CD Maxi-Single available only at Rad Cult. Also check out the Longmont Potion Castle remix from the same single.

Equally thumping and wistful is The Red Falcon Projects remix of “Gangs In The Garden” off Cobra Juicy.
