Broncho, “I Don't Really Want to Be Social”

It's grey outside. You had to buy two iced coffees just to feel normal. If your roommates come in the common area, you put on your headphones as soon as they step through the door. You feel like, if someone gChatted you, you might not respond. This is a good song for these blahs, an anthemic chanter for those who stay in their room and close the door.

Lyrical content aside, the Oklahoma band's single is a major-chord hookfest, mostly chorus with a little bridge, with frontman Ryan Lindsey (of the Starlight Mints) at the top of his vocal register, registering his discontent. It's two minutes and fifteen seconds, the classic time of a pop single, and maybe, just maybe, you might sing it with a friend. But it's ok to keep it to yourself.
