Beginning in the fall of 2016, Richard Wells started out setting together demos of songs that finally emerged as his first LP – “Space Suits”.
While residing in Athens, GA, Richard desired to create something in his personal time – where he would be completely comfortable. He commenced projecting the breadth of his musicianship and ear as a manufacturer and recording engineer with the aid of making an LP. Halfway through the project, he returned to Columbia, SC, where he felt he could connect with who he was and bring higher nurture for the development of the album. “Space Suits” became Richard’s explanation about space humans having to occupy the bodies they’re born into – without manipulation. Cloud Repair is complete and will be ready to share. Four singles will be launched in the fall of 2017 followed by the full album at the end of the year.

Cloud Repair releases second single Mountain Bloom ft. Kiersten Chow. The track makes us feel at ease as the beat and the psych-inspired guitar plays. The vocals are personally warming, bringing an authentic amorous atmosphere to the music. Their sound reminds us of Tennis meets Tame Impala meets Fleetwood Mac. ‘Mountain Bloom’ is the best encapsulation of Cloud Repair’s self-coined style.
