Crystal Hell Pool, Domain

Much like “Hot Tub Time Machine”, Crystal Hell Pool is a multi-syllabic rendering of a time and place where smoke machines were in charge of school field trips and everything was glazed in VHS track marks. Crystal Hell Pool's latest album Domain is a completely consistent and tone-focused outing on Debacle Records. It rips through thirty minutes of cold and collected beats that refer to each other in tone and sometimes even tempo and percussive repetition that sum up to a 'complete' outing in tune with itself (and Gatekeeper) and the period of industrial and dark 80s pop from which its demons come.
