Excepter's 2003-2004 “Streams” surface

excepter 2003 2004 streams

Just some of the imagery. From their Bandcamp.

On this Monday, April 11 in the year of our Lord 2011, Excepter switched some tracks previously available on their website over to their pleasantly embeddable and streamlined bandcamp page.
Check all seven, recorded between 2003-2004.

This was the lineup:

John Fell Ryan: vocals, electronics, percussion
Dan Hougland: electronics
Caitlin Cook: vocals
Calder Martin: vocals, guitar, percussion
Nathan Corbin: electronics
Jon Nicholson: vocals, electronics, percussion
Linda Casey: vocals, electronics

But about half of these are just Ryan, Hougland, Cook, Martin, Corbin.

Sometimes they go into detail, like for Stream 07:

Early spring 2004 magazine PR party show at converted warehouse with unremembered, unimaginative name like “Warehouse” or something. The place spent unheard of amounts of money soundproofing the pipes on the ceiling but apparently very little greasing local fire dept, who spent most of the early evening marching around sweating. Management was tightly-wound cabal of scandinavians who spent all their energy trying to control a formless mass of interns. Ghost Exits, Freddie Mas, Donna Summer, a many others all played sets. Ariel Pink in the audience.

Other locations include Lit Lounge, loft party on S. 5th in Williamsburg, Tonic, Lit Lounge, Plaid, Boogaloo, Lit Lounge.
