Gensu Dean ft. Georgia Anne Muldrow, “Floral Walking”

Post Author:

Veteran Texas producer Gensu Dean is set to drop his RAW album in just three days. Last week he released “Ball of Yarn,”a collaboration with Roc Marciano that definitely could have been the title track. Yesterday he changed pace with the fourth single “Floral Walking,” a Neo-Soul ballad featuring singer Georgia Anne Muldrow.

Dean has produced for some of the hardest spitters in Hip-Hop history but showed off his versatility here without veering too far away from his traditional sound. The production is soothing yet ominous, with a mysterious synth wifting in the background as Muldrow sings lovingly to the object of her affection. Muldrow’s voice and lyrics bring a tinge of classic Jazz to the track, as her rosily tells her lover that, “every twist and turn of coils of your hair in my hand feel like holy wire.”

RAW will be about on Mello Music Group. You can purchase the previous tracks here, and listen to “Floral Walking” below.
