James K, “Drunktrack”

Echoey vocals and patiently hit, flange-heavy pulses make this debut James K track, “Drunktrack”, feel less like a manifestation of one night swilling too much brew and more like a well-thought out manifesto on the coldness of the digital era. Hardly even uttering words, just the occasional sung note with pianos at their background, James K's “Drunktrack” has that sorrowful iciness that falls somewhere in the realm between experimental and digital. It's easy to get lost down the well of stoically expressed emotion, but beware of freezing to death down there.
