Jeremy & The Harlequins, “Rhythm Don’t Lie”

Jeremy & The Harlequins released their debut album, American Dreamer, only last year and since then, the band has been building up a lot of steam. One of the tracks on that album was even featured in the Tom Cruise film, Edge of Tomorrowas well as selected by Bruce Springsteen’s right hand man as his coolest track in the world for the month of July. Jeremy & The Harlequins have just released another track, called “Rhythm Don’t Lie,” and we are so excited about it.

“Rhythm Don’t Lie” has a thoroughly 50’s sound, like something you’d hear on the Grease soundtrack. The bass is standout and played with an amazing beat, and the snapping in the song gives it an almost cozy feel. This tune is so fun and will be stuck in your head for hours. (Not in a bad way, though you may end up being like a Disney character singing it out loud around everyone you pass in the street.) The song is over before you know it, at only 2 minutes and 29 second long, but you’ll be obsessed with this song in 10 seconds. This track instantly transports you back in time and will make you want to get up, find a partner, and start dancing.

Jeremy & The Harlequins will be performing at Irving Plaza in NYC on July 30th with D Generation. Tickets are available now.

Into the Night is out August 5th via Yep Roc Records. It is available for preorder now.
