Lick Twist, “Love Better”

Although they’ve been making music together since they were ten years old, the genre-blending duo Lick Twist – comprised of Jed Klebanow and Daniel Oron – didn’t make their work available to the public until 2015, a decade later. Since then, they’ve been wowing the world with their unique and fun sound. It’s your turn to be impressed, as we’ve got the exclusive premiere of their track “Love Better”.

Crackling, a slow and steady buildup, and then the gorgeous, bubble gum vocals of Michele Wylen. What an incredible cacophony of sound, making us feel like the 80’s and 90’s are back in this beautiful, introspective, and upbeat track.

“‘Love Better’ takes the listener on an acoustic/electronic journey and pulls the listener in with a refined balance of acoustic and electronic elements all underneath the sharp vocals of Michele Wylen,” explains the band. “We used electronic based sounds, arpeggios and frequency modulation which develops into a catchy and emotional chorus that sets the tone as the heart of the record.”

Keep an eye out for updates from Lick Twist.
