Listen to the new demo from light-touch electropop band Wet

Brooklyn's latest edition in the fight for R&B Narnia is not what you'd expect. In an unprecedented twist in the tale of the lonely electronic musician addying stylized, cold-pressed tones to his voice, we've been delivered a warm, fluid take on the reemergence of the genre with a woman as the lead. The band is, for better or for worse, called Wet and they've unleashed two tracks to the world that are soft and cloying like a kitten pawing at a shag rug. The tonal quality of both tracks, “U Da Best” and “Bad Idea”, are as Solange as they are How to Dress Well and the pop sensibility feels polished enough to come from a group at its height. There is no surprise, then, that the demand to hear more from the trio is immense. All we're saying is to keep an eye on them.

Listen to their only two (!) tracks below and check them out here.
