PREMIERE: Kat Lee – “Isn’t Up to Me”

Hailing from NYC, artist Kat Lee can usually be found fronting the dynamic rock group Tiny Gun. Now, Lee is stepping out on her own with a solo batch of songs led by “Isn’t Up to Me.” Impose Magazine is happy to be premiering it today.

On the track, Lee winds an ethereal, acoustic-led atmosphere as her brilliant, tender vocals work through internal conflict.

Lee details; “I wrote this song during a really weird and transitional time in my life. Sometimes, we are presented with situations in which keeping quiet about your feelings is the right thing to do for the sake of other people – but this song is basically the voice inside your head urging you to be selfish.”

Listen to Kat Lee’s “Isn’t Up to Me” below and look for it on streaming services tomorrow.
