Australian duo churns out jazzy trip-hop scorcher

Australia is rapidly becoming the face of breakthrough talent across the world, and to be leading that already strong scene is singer-songwriter Rhea Robertson. “Save Yourself” is a reminiscent mixture of 60s pop, swaggering jazzy undertones and solid backbone of hip-pop, taken from producer Luke Wylde’s strong genre-bending background as a former hip hop DJ turned writer and producer.

“The song explains the thought process when you’re down and out, when you stop pretending you’re ok, when you allow yourself to feel exactly how you’re feeling because it’s the only way to truly save yourself.”

Wrought with emotion, Rhea’s powerful vocal carries that gravity of her lyrics through to your very soul. An exciting addition to an already stellar catalogue.
