Ambient-tinged electro that surprises you with its sudden slides into what feels like a deep, all-encompassing brew, it’s an album that simmers and eventually bubbles over. Slyly seductive and perfectly poised, it runs on the idea of sustained tension and eventual release. Gradually building into something bigger, all the pitched vocal samples and shimmering keys contribute to an atmosphere of intense anticipation. A surprise certainly worth waiting for.
