The Desert – Gone

Bristol Newcomers The Desert deliver icy trip-hop melodies in new single ‘GONE’

Taking cues from another certain west country band called Portishead, The Desert are a new band hailing from Bristol, who are seemingly delving into the often menacing sounds of UK trip hop, made famous by the likes of Massive Attack and Morcheeba.

Following on from their debut effort ‘Just Get High’ in 2017, the bands new single ‘Gone’ is a brooding, dystopian return, its taut paranoia and synthetic beats accompany by haunting lyrics from vocalist Gina Leonard.
